The Visible Airplane Engine Model Kit 14 by Renwal Products Inc. Unassembled
Condition: New other (see details). An operating ΒΌ scale model of the WASP A 9-cylinder radial engine by Pratt and Whitney. Transparent housing permits observation of the operating pistons, valves, rocker arms, connecting rods, cam and cam gears which are synchronized with the electrical firing of the spark plugs. Variable pitch propeller changes positions for all flight conditions. Includes powerful Permag motor and all necessary components except flashlight batteries.
An extra set of spark plug wires with integral red lights is also included. Includes an informative illustrated handbook The Aircraft Engine and how it operates. The entire set has been inventoried to assure that all parts are present. The model has not been assembled.
After inventory, similar colored parts were placed back into each of the five boxes with clear tops. Each layer of parts was separated by bubble wrap. The wires to the Permag motor have come undone from the motor but can be reattached by soldering. The motor has been tested with a battery and works.The box has some corner wear and one of the corners is torn (refer to pictures). The tear was not repaired with tape.
