Up for sale is this UNUSED Ray Harryhausen-designed KING KONG Porcelain Model Kit. The stopmotion genius Ray Harryhausen was responsible for iconic creature features like the original Clash of the Titans and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.
Remember Sinbad's swordfight with the skeleton? This model kit was produced by Dark Horse Comics in 1993, a company based in Milwaukee, Oregon. All components and instructions brand new and sealed in original packaging and box. The box has some significant shelf wear, but it is still an impressive and beautiful box, measuring 10 inches by 10 inches by 9 inches. The cover image, in addition to the model itself, were designed by Ray Harryhausen, who based his design on the 1933 RKO film.
